Say What!?: Nine Escaped Wolf-Dog Hybrids Captured in North Carolina

NORTH CAROLINA — Officials in a North Carolina county said nine escaped wolf-dog hybrids have been rounded up in the area, while three others are believed to still be on the loose.

Orange County Animal Services, which revealed in July that the canines, hybrids of wolves and German shepherd dogs, had escaped from a Cedar Grove-area enclosure, said nine of the animals have been captured and are being kept at the shelter.
