According to a criminal complaint released on Wednesday, January 17, Patrolman Brandon Rosenberger, of the Oil City Police Department, was contacted by a known male on December 6, 2023, who reported being assaulted that day.

He reported that while Heather Williams was moving items out of his Oak Grove Street residence, she asked several individuals to assist. One of the people who arrived was Alex Williams who was behaving aggressively toward the male victim, the complaint states.

Alex Williams went to the porch of the residence and began kicking and pulling on the door. Once the door opened, he called for the victim to come outside to fight and called him names, the complaint indicates.

After a short time, Alex Williams entered the residence going after the victim, at which time he began striking and kicking the victim. At one point, he hit the victim several times with a baseball bat, according to the complaint.

During this time, Heather Williams and Alexandrea Dashner-Hartle assisted in the assault by holding the victim down while punching and kicking him, the complaint indicates.

The victim provided Patrolman Rosenberger with a copy of video footage of the incident taking place, the complaint notes.
