Police Seek Information After Woman Struck by Vehicle in Bloomfield Township

BLOOMFIELD TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Police are asking for the public’s help with information related to an incident of assault in Bloomfield Township.

According to a report released by PSP Corry on Monday, June 19, troopers responded to Lake Road in Bloomfield Township, Crawford County, for a report of criminal mischief around 10:10 p.m. on Sunday, May 28.

Police say a 45-year-old Union City man smashed the window of a 2004 Ford F-150 XLT with a closed fist during a verbal altercation.

The man then used his vehicle to strike a known victim, and the victim’s vehicle, in the process.

The suspect then fled the scene, but was later apprehended by PSP Corry. He was taken into custody without incident and charges are pending at this time.

The victims are a 30-year-old woman and a 52-year-old woman, both of Centerville.
